A Junior Kindergarten (Junior KG) and Senior Kindergarten (Senior KG) program at our preschool are designed to provide young children with a fun and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow.
Children between 4yrs to 6 yrs. are engaged in this program. Our program is based on an integrated methodology and the belief that children are competent learners.
In a Junior KG program, children will typically be introduced to basic concepts such as numbers, shapes, colors, and letters. They will also learn basic social skills, such as taking turns and sharing, and fine motor skills, such as cutting and pasting. The curriculum is often designed to be hands-on and interactive, focusing on exploration and discovery. Children in this program will also participate in art, music, and movement activities, which can help them develop creativity and self-expression.
In a Senior KG program, children will build on the foundations laid in Junior KG and will learn more advanced concepts such as basic arithmetic, reading, and writing. They will also continue to work on social and fine motor skills and develop their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. The curriculum in this program will also include science, social studies, and other subjects that will help children learn about the world around them.
Our Kindergarten program recognizes that children will soon be entering grade school and are eager to explore the world around them.
The program runs for about 5 hours daily, wherein educators work collaboratively with children to generate a program that meets CBSE standards while engaging children in their interests and talents.
Overall, Our preschool's Junior KG and Senior KG programs are intended to provide young children with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in formal schooling and beyond.
